How To Get To Buxa Farm Chalets... From Stromness: When departing the ferry in Stromness: Turn right upon departure from the ferry parking lot onto the A965 taking you towards Kirkwall. Turn right at A964 signposted to Orphir. Continue for approximately 5 miles and Buxa Farm Chalets is signposted on the right. Go to the end of the road and take a left at next signpost. Approximately 15 minutes. From Kirkwall: When departing the ferry in Kirkwall: Turn left upon departure from the ferry parking lot and head through industrial park (taking you towards Kirkwall) to junction, take left and then first turn right at Mills Filling Station and follow road to traffic circle, take right at traffic circle. Take another right at the A964 Orphir road and stay on for about 20 minutes passing through small village of Orphir and uphill past Houton Ferry Terminal. Buxa Farm Chalets is signposted on the left. Go to the end of the road and take a left at next signpost. From St. Margaret’s Hope: When departing the ferry from St Margarets Hope follow signs to Kirkwall. You will pass Highland Park Distillery on the right when entering Kirkwall, follow the road around and then take left at the A964 Orphir road (signposted) and stay on for about 20 minutes passing through small village of Orphir and uphill past Houton Ferry Terminal. Buxa Farm Chalets is signposted on the left. Go to the end of the road and take a left at next signpost. What is there to see and do? The most common complaint we get from visitors is that there just isn’t enough time to see everything in Orkney!
